Identity verification is optional, and submissions are reviewed by our team rather than a filter.

Identity verification
Submit a selfie with photo ID plus a short hand-reveal video. It's reviewed privately and never shown on your profile — verified people just get a badge.
Report
Report a profile, a chat, a game answer or a group. Chat reports keep a snapshot for moderation, and your reports stay in the app so you can follow up.
Block
Blocking someone hides them across both Dates and Mates. Reporting doesn't block automatically — that stays your choice.
Emergency contact
Save someone you trust, with an optional location ping when you want extra backup — without turning the app into always-on GPS.
Fake call
Set the caller name, photo and ringtone, then trigger a realistic incoming call so you can leave gracefully. Nobody is actually dialled.
Photo blur
Blur profile photos and chat photos until you tap, so nothing unexpected appears on your screen.
Venue check-in
Check in at a venue to see who else is out. You choose whether you're visible, and check-in ends automatically after 6 hours.
Restrictions and bans
Accounts that break the rules can be restricted from games or from the platform entirely. Restricted accounts can still reach our support chat.
Extra safety for Dates
More support when you're dating.
Dating comes with extra risks, so One Dollar Date adds tools for the stretch between matching and meeting.
Date check-in reminders
Set reminders while you're out on a date, so someone knows you're safe. You can stop them from the check-in prompt at any time.
Verified-only Discover
Choose to only see people who have completed identity verification. If either person has it switched on, both need to be verified.
View-once photos
Send a photo that can only be opened once. Both people have to opt into disappearing photos, and they can't be downloaded.
Date reviews
After a date you can leave a private review, and flag a serious problem to us at the same time.
Closure surveys
When a match ends you can say why, and optionally report or block at the same time. The other person never sees your answers.
Mutual chat opt-in
A match doesn't open a chat. You both tap "Let's chat" first, which keeps unwanted messages out of your inbox.

Build friendships with confidence.

Verified public group creators
Creating a public community group requires identity verification. Private groups are available to everyone.
Community moderation
Groups have leads and admins who manage members and join requests. Group reports go to them as well as to us.

Hangouts are built around a real venue and a real time, with optional venue check-in when you arrive.
Friendships you control
Friend requests go both ways, chats open when you both opt in, and you can unfriend anytime.
