The promoter is One Dollar Date (the “Promoter”), operating in Western Australia, Australia. For questions about this promotion, use the Contact form or message the One Dollar Date Facebook page.
This is a free-entry trade promotion lottery under the Gaming and Wagering Commission Act 1987 (WA) and the prescribed conditions in Schedule 5 of the Gaming and Wagering Commission Regulations 1988. Entry is free (other than ordinary internet access costs). No purchase is required.
The promotion opens when these Terms are published on the website and closes at the Promoter’s public launch of One Dollar Hub (Dates and Mates) (the “Launch Date”), or earlier if stated on the website. The promotion will not run for more than 12 months.
The prize draw will be conducted within one week after the Launch Date, and in any case within one month after the promotion closes (as required under WA conditions).
There is one combined draw of 21 winners from all opted-in entries (Dates and Mates together). The prize pack a winner receives depends on which product they preregistered for.
Dates pack — if you signed up on One Dollar Date
Grand Prize — “The Ultimate Perth Date Night” (1 winner)
Runner-up (10 winners)
Lifelines (10 winners)
Mates pack — if you signed up on One Dollar Mate
Grand Prize — “The ultimate Perth mates experience” (1 winner)
Runner-up (10 winners)
Lifelines (10 winners)
Prize values are approximate retail value in Australian dollars. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash unless required by law. Venue, brand, and voucher terms (including expiry and location) apply. The Promoter may substitute any prize with another of equal or greater retail value at any time before a prize is awarded, including Australia-wide gift cards or vouchers, if a listed prize is unavailable, impractical to fulfil, or the Promoter reasonably substitutes it.
Winners will be selected by a randomised electronic draw from all valid opted-in entries that also have a matching One Dollar Hub app account (same email, created in the first week after launch) across both One Dollar Date and One Dollar Mate (including referral bonus entries). Each valid entry has an equal chance of being drawn. 21 winners are drawn from the combined pool. Draws are conducted in tiers: Grand Prize first, then runner-up, then lifeline. The prize pack sent matches the product on the winner’s signup. A person who has already won a prize in this promotion is removed from the pool for any later prize (maximum one prize per person).
Where practicable, members of the public may witness the draw. If that is not practicable, audit records of the draw will be retained and made available to an authorised officer or police on request (WA Schedule 5 condition).
Winners will be notified by email to the address used to preregister within 7 days of the draw. Winners may also be announced on the Promoter’s social channels (first name only, unless you agree otherwise).
If a winner does not claim their prize within 14 days of notification (or cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts), the Promoter may redraw that prize.
Personal information is collected to run the promotion, contact winners, and deliver prizes, and is handled under our Privacy Policy. Referral codes are used only to calculate entries.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for late, lost, or misdirected entries; technical failures; or prize redemption issues caused by third-party voucher providers. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
